Lidl Celebrates the Completion of UEFA Women’s EURO 2025™

Lidl is celebrating the successful completion of UEFA Women’s EURO 2025™, a tournament that attracted 657,291 fans to the stadiums and over 400 million viewers worldwide. Lidl was proud to participate in this historic event, offering 3,500 tickets to customers and employees.
As part of the tournament, Lidl organized the Lidl Youth Camp in Basel, hosting 100 young women from 18 countries. Additionally, Lidl had a presence at the Fan Zones, where over 1 million visitors participated in activities and promoted a healthy lifestyle.
Lidl also developed the Awareness Team to ensure the safety and respect of all fans at the matches. In Rapperswil-Jona, they created The Fresh Field, a playing field where over 15 tons of fresh fruits and vegetables were grown and harvested, which were donated to local partners.
