Paphos Aims for Super Cup Title Against AEK

Paphos is vying for the Super Cup against AEK in a match to be held at GSP Stadium. David Goldar stated: "I remember the previous Super Cup very well. I don't want what happened last year to happen again. We learned from it and I don't want it to happen again. It made us stronger."
On his part, Neophytos Michael emphasized: "I think it's a completely different game. It's a trophy, a final. We will go serious and grounded to face it. Because AEK is in a very good phase now, we must be ready. I think we have a very good team, we have nothing to fear."
Goldar added: "It's a final, you have the chance to win another title for our people. So, it's a huge game, a final that we have to do everything and be strong to take the title."
The match comes amid a demanding schedule for Paphos, with obligations in Cyprus and Europe. Michael noted: "The team has many games under its belt. It also has games in the Champions League, which is a big institution, and we are also dedicated to the championship. Surely we can't leave it behind us, it's an institution that we must be serious about and we want to win it."
Juan Carlos Carcedo is expected to make changes to the starting lineup.
