Schalke Celebrates 200,000 Members

Schalke 04 celebrated reaching 200,000 members, despite playing in the second division of the Bundesliga. The celebration took place at the VELTINS Arena, where Suzanne from Gelsenkirchen was presented as the symbolic representative of the 'royal blue family'.

Schalke's relationship with its fans is on the rise. In August 2011, it exceeded 100,000 members for the first time, and by 2017, that number had increased to 150,000 members. In 2002, there were approximately 31,000 members.

CEO Matthias Tillmann stated that Schalke 04 is known worldwide for its passionate fans.
