Genoa Defeats Roma, Boosts Como's Hopes

Genoa defeated Roma 2-1 at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris, leaving De Rossi's team outside the top four in Serie A. This result boosts Como, owned by Fàbregas.

Messias opened the scoring for Genoa in the 52nd minute with a penalty, but Ndicka equalized for Roma in the 55th minute. Malen's goal was disallowed for offside in the 58th minute, and Vitinha scored the decisive goal in the 80th minute.

Kostas Tsimikas played the entire 90 minutes for Roma.
