KOA: Licensing and upgrade for "Antonis Papadopoulos", "Ammochostos" and Dasaki stadiums

The KOA (Cyprus Sports Organisation) announced the licensing and provision for a total upgrade fund for the "Antonis Papadopoulos", "Ammochostos" and Dasaki stadiums. The decision was made after the completion of the emergency meeting regarding the Refugee Tournament, which took place on August 11, 2025.

The meeting was attended by the President, Vice President and Members of the KOA Board, the President and Members of the Stadium Licensing Authority (AAS), as well as the Presidents and Representatives of the Refugee Associations (Anorthosis Ammochostou, Ethnikos Achnas, Nea Salamina Ammochostou).

The KOA budget, prepared on 17/06/2025 for the years 2026, 2027 and 2028, includes provision for the inclusion of a fund for the total upgrade of the three stadiums.

The representatives of the associations thanked the Government, the KOA and the AAS and pledged to comply with their instructions. It was decided to hold monthly meetings to evaluate progress and speed up the processes.
