Cyprus Sports Organisation: No Changes to Fan Card Issuance Possible

The Cyprus Sports Organisation (KOA) has announced that, despite efforts, no changes can be made to the method of issuing the fan card due to legal and technical issues.

The KOA had taken steps to facilitate the issuance of the card, responding to requests from clubs for individuals over 65 and families of foreign athletes.

Following a request from the Cyprus Football Association for the parallel use of expired cards, the KOA met with the Deputy Ministry of Research, Innovation and Digital Policy, the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection, and the Police.

It is clarified that Cypriot citizens over 18 years of age issue the card through the "Digital Citizen" application with a connection to CyLogin. Individuals aged 14-18, 65+, holders of temporary residence permits (ARC), and holders of foreign passports issue the card through the KOA portal https://fancard.cy.
