Hellenic Swimming Federation's Message for Women's Day: Equality Can't Wait

The Hellenic Swimming Federation (KOE) issued a strong message for International Women's Day, emphasizing that gender equality cannot wait.

Seven women, including athletes such as Anna Dountounaki, Foteini Tricha, Sofia Malkogeorgou, Margarita Giannopoulou, Irini Deligianni, Maria Gavriela Anagnostopoulou from the KOE Board, and caregiver Stella Kontogeorgou, united to highlight the importance of supporting women's well-being in every field.

KOE's initiative comes in response to the UN's estimate that full gender equality will be achieved in 300 years, which the women of aquatic sports consider unacceptable. KOE is committed to taking steady steps towards a more equitable reality, listening to the needs of women.

With the slogan "Rights. Justice. Action.", KOE supports the practical support and empowerment of women in all areas.
