Funding Secured for Upgrade of Three Stadiums in Cyprus

A meeting was held on August 11, 2025, at the KOA offices regarding the licensing and upgrading of the stadiums of refugee clubs Anorthosis Famagusta, Ethnikos Achnas, and Nea Salamina Famagusta.

The President of the KOA presented the draft budget for the years 2026-2028, which includes funding for the upgrade of the three stadiums. The Stadium Licensing Authority informed the clubs of their obligations regarding static and anti-seismic upgrades to obtain the necessary certificates.

The representatives of the clubs thanked the Government, the KOA, and the SLA and pledged to comply with their instructions. It was decided to hold monthly meetings to assess the progress of the works.
