Xanthopoulou (Panionios Betsson): "High Goals from the Start"

The international libero of Panionios Betsson, Martina Xanthopoulou, spoke to Athletiko about the CEV Challenge Cup semi-finals against Panathinaikos.

Panionios Betsson and Panathinaikos will compete for a place in the final of the competition, in a historic moment for Greek women's volleyball. Xanthopoulou stressed that the team had set high goals from the beginning of the season and that qualifying for the semi-finals is the result of hard work and confidence in the team's abilities.

Referring to the matches against Panathinaikos, Xanthopoulou noted that her team has learned from their defeats in the league and is ready to fight for qualification. She also called on the fans to support the team in the second semi-final, stressing that their presence is very important.

The first game is scheduled for February 19 in Metz and the second semi-final will be held on February 25 at Panionios' home ground.
