Cyprus to Benefit from FIBA EuroBasket 2025

Cyprus anticipates significant economic benefits from hosting FIBA EuroBasket 2025. As the smallest country ever to undertake the event, Cyprus aims to boost its sports tourism sector.

Investments, including the upgrade of the Spyros Kyprianou Athletic Center in Limassol, are expected to generate an economic impact of between 13 and 17 million euros.

The event will attract thousands of visitors and offer international television exposure to approximately 300 million viewers worldwide. Furthermore, hundreds of Cypriots will gain valuable experience through their participation in the organization.
