Larissa: Football Official Assaults Assistant Referee

A serious incident of violence occurred at a football match in the A' Local Category of Larissa Football on Sunday (November 23). According to onlarissa.gr, a football official punched an assistant referee.

The referees filed a lawsuit for physical violence, threats, and insults. Another member of the team is said to have verbally threatened the referees.

The president of EPS Larissa, Mr. Dimitris Bouchlariotis, condemned the incident, stressing that violence is not the solution.
