Lazar Marković, the latest transfer acquisition of Apollon Limassol, expressed his enthusiasm for the new challenge in his career in statements on the team's official website. The experienced attacking midfielder referred to his goals with Apollon, emphasizing the importance of his experience and his motivation for distinctions in the championship and a return to European competitions.

Marković stated that he was excited to continue his career at Apollon, mentioning that he had heard many positive things about the team and Cyprus. He noted that the level of Cypriot football is constantly rising and that it is a competitive league.

"I want us to fight for titles and compete for a European ticket. I miss that feeling," Marković characteristically stated, emphasizing his desire to return to the European stage. In addition, he promised to give 100% of himself on and off the field, aiming to contribute with goals and assists.
