Matthew Vaughn: Director to Invest in Brentford FC

Director Matthew Vaughn, known for films like Kick-Ass and Kingsman, is in talks to become a shareholder in Brentford FC. The 54-year-old Briton, husband of Claudia Schiffer, is partnering with South African businessman Gary Lubner to acquire a minority stake, estimated between 48 and 90 million euros.
The potential deal follows Vaughn's recent collaboration with Cristiano Ronaldo to create a film studio. Claudia Schiffer was spotted at a Brentford match in December, fueling rumors of Vaughn's involvement with the team. The current owner of Brentford, Matthew Benham, took over the team in 2014 and led them to the Premier League.
Several celebrities have invested in English football, including Ryan Reynolds (Wrexham), Michael B. Jordan (Bournemouth), and Will Ferrell (Leeds United).
