Zero Tolerance for Contracts Below Legal Minimum Wage

The Ministry of Labour and Social Insurance has clarified that contracts for professional footballers with earnings below the legal minimum wage, as defined in the relevant Decree, are not acceptable.
Specifically, the Decree stipulates a minimum monthly salary of 900 euros for the first six months of employment and 1,000 euros thereafter. This decision applies to all league categories and to all footballers, both male and female.
PA.S.P. has reminded all teams in writing of the decision, emphasizing that any deviation constitutes a violation. At the same time, it called on footballers not to accept lower earnings and assured that it will take all necessary actions to ensure legality.
Clubs must respect the Ministry's decision and ensure decent working conditions.
