Armenia defeated Ireland 2-1 at home, while Ukraine drew 1-1 with Azerbaijan in the World Cup qualifiers.

In Group 6, Armenia prevailed over Ireland with a score of 2-1. Spertsyan opened the scoring with a penalty, and Ranos doubled the lead. Ferguson scored for Ireland.

In Group 4, Ukraine drew 1-1 with Azerbaijan. Sudakov gave Ukraine the lead, but Makhmudov equalized with a penalty.
