Giorgos Georgiadis appointed as director of AEK Academy

AEK FC has announced the appointment of Giorgos Georgiadis as the new director of the club's Academy.

Giorgos Georgiadis, a former football player who has played for PAOK, Olympiacos, Panathinaikos and Newcastle, is taking over the leadership of the Academy. He has also worked as an interim coach at PAOK and was involved with the Thessaloniki club's academy from 2019 to 2024.

According to the AEK FC announcement, Giorgos Georgiadis will be the head of the Academy and will be presented to the staff and personnel by the administrative manager of the Academy, Mr. Antonis Iliopoulos, in the coming days.
