PAOK Qualifies for CEV Challenge Cup Round of 8 Amidst Mourning

PAOK's men's volleyball team has qualified for the Round of 8 of the CEV Challenge Cup, securing two sets at home against Ukrainian team Khorodok. The match took place a few days after the accident involving the club's fans in Romania.

PAOK had requested a postponement of the match from the European Volleyball Confederation (CEV), but the request was not accepted. Having won the first match 3-0, they needed two sets at the PAOK Sports Arena to qualify, which they achieved.

Before the start of the match, a minute's silence was observed for the victims of the accident, and the club's academies paid tribute.
