Olympiacos: Mendilibar wins the Betsson Super Cup

Olympiacos won the Betsson Super Cup, defeating OFI 3-0 in extra time at the Pankritio Stadium. The match was held in difficult conditions due to the wind.

Coach Mendilibar, despite the difficulties and OFI's tight defense, did not make any changes until the end of the 90th minute. The forced substitution of Kalogeropoulos due to the injury of Biancone, changed the flow of the match.

The changes that followed, with players like Yazici, gave rhythm and quality to the team. Olympiacos starts the new year with a title, after two draws in the last games of 2025.

Mendilibar has won many titles, but not the EuroLeague.
