World Junior Championships: Doumas out of 50m breaststroke final

Evangelos Doumas failed to qualify for the 50m breaststroke final at the World Junior Championships, clocking in at 27.76. Earlier, he set a national record with 27.62 in the morning qualifier.

In other events, Nikos Spatharakis finished 40th in the 100m freestyle, Dimitris Papadopoulos 60th, Iasonas Routoulas 15th in the 400m individual medley, Vasilis Charas 23rd, Despoina Pyrili 26th in the 50m freestyle for girls, and Elektra Magkotsiou 41st.
