Simeone: «Almeida has done excellent work in every team»

Diego Simeone expressed his admiration for Matias Almeida, ahead of Atletico Madrid's match against Sevilla. The two were teammates at Lazio and in the Argentinian national team.

Simeone stated: «He is a friend of mine and very likeable. We had an excellent relationship in the Argentinian national team and at Lazio. He has done tremendous work wherever he has gone and he deserves it. Sevilla plays the way Almeida wants... a reflection of their coach».

The Atletico Madrid - Sevilla match will be held on Saturday (1/11) at the «Metropolitano».
