Stoichkov Criticizes Klopp Over Club World Cup Comments

Former Bulgarian footballer Hristo Stoichkov has criticized Jurgen Klopp for his comments regarding the Club World Cup. Klopp had described the tournament as the worst idea in football.
Stoichkov, speaking to Marca newspaper, stated that he did not expect such comments from Klopp and reminded him that when Liverpool participated and earned money, no one complained. He also pointed out that Klopp might be angry because Salzburg is not participating in the competition, given that he is a director at Red Bull.
Stoichkov added that the Club World Cup brings together different cultures and tactics, and concluded by saying that coaches should not complain when they earn 20 million a year.
