Warm Welcome for Tentoglou at Panthessaliko Stadium

Miltiadis Tentoglou is competing in the Balkan Athletics Championships at the Panthessaliko Stadium, aiming to break Kostas Koukodimos' championship record from 1992.

The 27-year-old athlete has come close to the record twice, in 2018 and 2024, but remained just one centimeter away. He is also a small distance away from Louis Tsatoumas' national record (8.66 m.).

Tentoglou, coached by Giorgos Pomanski, received a standing ovation upon entering the stadium, with the crowd cheering him on. The two-time Olympic Gold medalist (2021, 2024) bowed to the audience.
