Donald Trump has stated that he spoke with Tiger Woods following his arrest in Florida for driving under the influence. Trump mentioned that Woods is 'in a lot of pain' due to chronic injuries.

The 50-year-old Woods was arrested on Friday in Florida. According to police, he lost control of his vehicle while driving. During the search, hydrocodone pills were found in his possession.

Trump stated that Woods 'doesn't have a problem with alcohol, but he's in pain' and that the alcohol test was negative. He added that Woods is under physical pressure due to back and leg problems.

Woods' Land Rover overturned on March 27 near Jupiter Island, Florida. Woods initially refused to submit to a urine test but was eventually released on bail.

Woods is in a relationship with Vanessa Trump, the ex-wife of Donald Trump Jr.
