Alexandros Gamvraoui Wins Gold at the European Youth Olympic Festival

Great success for Cyprus at the European Youth Olympic Festival «Skopje 2025», with Alexandros Gamvraoui winning the gold medal in hammer throw with a throw of 78.32 meters.

Alexandros' medal is the second for the Cypriot delegation, after Marina Hatzikosta's bronze in discus throw, bringing Cyprus' total collection to 21 medals in the history of the event.

Alexandros dedicated his victory to his coach Kostas Stathelakos, his coach Skevi Theodorou, and his mother. He will also be the flag bearer at the EYOF closing ceremony.
