Ministry of Sports: e-Kouros platform open for club registrations for 2026

The Ministry of Sports has announced the launch of the e-Kouros digital platform for sports club registration applications for 2026. The process began with the publication of the relevant decision in the Government Gazette (FEK (Β’ 1696, 27/03/2026)).

According to the Ministry, the e-Kouros platform is the largest organizational reform in sports. Through it, amateur sports clubs with Special Sports Recognition can submit an electronic registration application to the Electronic Registry.

In addition, the platform is also used to update the data for 2026, both for the 6,451 clubs already registered in the 2025 Registry and for the 237 new clubs that have the right to register for the first time.

The Deputy Minister of Sports, Yiannis Vroutsis, stressed that e-Kouros simplifies administrative procedures and collects information for the supervision and development of sports.

Electronic applications are submitted until September 15, 2026, while clubs have the right to corrective resubmissions until November 15, 2026.
