Fire in Valia Kalda National Park Sparked by Lightning

A fire is currently burning in the Valia Kalda National Park, near Kraniá, Grevena. The fire is consuming forest land in a difficult-to-access area, hindering firefighting efforts.

According to reports, the fire was caused by lightning early in the evening. 4 vehicles with 15 firefighters and a ground crew are operating at the scene.
