Strong 7.1 Magnitude Earthquake off the Coast of Malaysia

A strong earthquake of magnitude 7.1 Richter occurred off the coast of Malaysia on Sunday (22/2).

The seismic event was located 53 kilometers west of the Kudat area, at a great focal depth.

There have been no immediate reports of damage or casualties.
