Hungarians organized a camel caravan in Budapest to warn about the desertification of the country and demand measures for global warming.

Approximately 100 protesters marched towards the Ministry of Agriculture, demanding water retention zones and sustainable land use. Musicians and jugglers participated in the caravan.

Hungary is considered vulnerable to drought in the EU, with 63% of its land in a state of alert. The government claims to be working towards sustainable resource use, having allocated 422 million euros to optimize consumption in the agricultural sector.
