China: Dramatic Video of Landslide After Torrential Rain

A dramatic video from China captures the moment of a landslide in Yunnan province, following torrential rains. Residents watch helplessly as a massive amount of mud, rocks, and trees slides down a mountainside.

The region is affected by severe weather, causing widespread damage and an increased risk of natural disasters. No injuries were reported, but there was a temporary disruption of power and traffic.

Meanwhile, flash floods and landslides in Jinan, Shandong province, caused the death of two people and ten missing. China's State Flood Control and Drought Relief Headquarters issued a flood alert for five northern regions.

Heavy rainfall is expected to continue until Saturday in Beijing, Hebei, Shanxi, Jilin and Ningxia. At the same time, China is experiencing prolonged heatwaves in the midst of the flood season.
