Drought: 52% of European Land Affected

The European Drought Observatory announced that 52% of European land is affected by drought for the fourth consecutive month.

Hungary is a notable case, with 56% of its land in a state of alert in July. In France, the percentage of land experiencing persistent drought reached 68%, while in Turkey, this figure is 60%.
