New Zealand: Woman Blown Across Road by Gale-Force Winds – Video

A shocking incident was captured on video in New Zealand, where a woman was blown across a road by gale-force winds.

The incident occurred amidst a red alert issued by the Meteorological Service of New Zealand, with wind gusts reaching 140 km/h.

In the video, captured by a car's dashcam, the woman is seen trying to stay upright, but is eventually blown into the middle of the road. Fortunately, passing drivers managed to stop their vehicles in time.

Authorities have warned of a serious risk from flying objects and fallen trees, while heavy rainfall has been recorded on the west side of the country.

A new warning has been issued for a 'more severe' weather system.
