Dead Dolphin Washed Ashore in Kavala with Rope Tied to Fin

A dead dolphin was found on Rapsani beach in Kavala, with a thick rope tied to its fin.

Residents and visitors discovered the grim sight last Saturday. According to kavalapost.gr, the rope was tied with a nautical knot.

The Coast Guard and the Municipality of Kavala were notified and took care of the animal's collection and sanitary burial.
