A total lunar eclipse will occur on Sunday, September 7, 2025, a spectacular phenomenon during which the moon will appear with a reddish hue, known as the 'Blood Moon'.

The Troodos Observatory is organizing a special viewing event. As noted, the phenomenon will be fully visible from Cyprus. The moon will rise around 18:59, while the penumbral eclipse stage will already be in progress.

A partial eclipse will occur at 19:28, while at 20:30 the moon will be completely covered by the Earth's shadow, acquiring the red glow of totality. The eclipse reaches its maximum at 21:12. The phenomenon ends at 23:55.
