Very High Fire Risk Today, June 28

According to the Fire Risk Forecast Map issued by the General Secretariat for Civil Protection, a very high fire risk (risk category 4) is forecast for today, Saturday, June 28, 2025, in the following regions:

Attica Region
Central Greece Region (Evia, Viotia)
Peloponnese Region (Korinthia, Argolida)
North Aegean Region (Lesvos, Chios, Samos, Ikaria)
Crete Region
Central Macedonia Region (Thessaloniki, Kilkis)

The General Secretariat for Civil Protection has informed the relevant services and regions to be on increased alert. Citizens are advised to be especially careful and avoid actions that could cause a fire through negligence.

In case of fire, citizens are requested to immediately notify the Fire Service at 199.
