In northern Portugal, a severe fire has been burning since Saturday in the Peneda-Geres National Park, while the Arouca forest fire, which started on Monday, remains active. Today is expected to be difficult due to adverse weather conditions, with strong winds and temperatures potentially reaching 40°C.
The entire Portuguese territory is on alert for a 'maximum, very high, or high' risk of forest fires.
