Fire at COP30 UN Climate Conference in Belém

A fire broke out at a booth in the conference center hosting the 30th UN Climate Change Conference (COP30) in Belém, Brazil. The incident occurred around 14:00 (local time, 19:00 in Greece).
A booth caught fire, leading to the evacuation of the wing. Firefighters rushed to the scene and brought the situation under control approximately half an hour later. According to Brazilian Tourism Minister Celso Sabino, no injuries were reported.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the fire, with initial indications suggesting a short circuit.
