ReTuna: World's First Second-Hand Shopping Mall

ReTuna Ă…terbruksgalleria in Eskilstuna, Sweden, is the world's first shopping mall that exclusively sells second-hand and recycled goods. It operates as a circular consumption experiment, where all products are donations.
ReTuna includes 14 stores, an exhibition space, a recycling education program, and a restaurant. It was founded in 2015 as part of Eskilstuna's strategy to reduce waste and protect the climate.
The mall creates approximately 50 new jobs and boosts the local economy. The second-hand market is growing rapidly, with projections to reach US$1.04 trillion by 2035.
In a YouGov survey, 43% of second-hand shoppers preferred in-store shopping over online purchases.
