6.4 Magnitude Earthquake Hits Kamchatka, Siberia

A 6.4 magnitude earthquake struck Kamchatka, Siberia, on Tuesday. According to the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC), the epicenter was located in the sea off the eastern coast of the Kamchatka Peninsula in the Russian Far East.

The focal depth was estimated at 28 kilometers.
