6.5 Magnitude Earthquake Hits Indonesian Papua

A 6.5 magnitude earthquake struck Papua, a province in eastern Indonesia, according to the United States Geological Survey (USGS).

The epicenter was located approximately 200 km from the city of Jayapura, at a depth of 35 km.

No injuries have been reported and no tsunami warning has been issued.
