Thailand: Lions maul zookeeper to death

A zookeeper was killed by lions in Thailand, authorities have announced, raising questions about worker safety.
The 58-year-old had worked at Safari World in Bangkok, one of Asia's largest zoos, for approximately 30 years. According to reports, he was attacked by six or seven lions.
An eyewitness described the keeper exiting a vehicle and standing with his back to the animals for about three minutes before a lion approached and grabbed him.
