Chile: Five Miners Found Dead in El Teniente Mine Collapse

The search operation concluded with the recovery of five miners who were trapped in the El Teniente mine in Chile, following a tunnel collapse. All missing workers were found dead.

The accident occurred last Thursday after seismic activity. Authorities are investigating the causes of the collapse at the world's largest copper mine.

The victims are Moisés Pavez Armijo, Gonzalo Núñez Caroca, Álex Araya Acevedo, Jean Miranda Ibaceta, Carlos Arancibia Valenzuela, and Paulo Marín Tapia.

Chile's metallurgical industry is considered one of the safest in the world.
