Fire in Limassol District Under Control

The fire that broke out on Wednesday night in the Limassol district, north of the Alassa community, has been brought under control. According to Fire Service spokesperson Andreas Kettis, fire crews are carrying out final extinguishing operations and fully containing the fire.

Forces from the Fire Service, the Department of Forests, Civil Defence, and the KITAS volunteer team participated in the extinguishing operation. A tanker from the District Administration assisted in supplying water. The causes of the fire are under investigation in cooperation with the Police.
