16-Year-Old Steals Chain and Swallows It on the Metro – Arrested

A 16-year-old was arrested at Larissis Station after stealing a chain from a woman's neck and then swallowing it, according to SKAI.

The incident occurred on Wednesday afternoon when the teenager snatched the chain from the passenger while waiting on the platform. Police officers patrolling the area noticed him and began to chase him.

In an attempt to escape, the 16-year-old entered the metro tunnels, causing a disruption to train services. When he realized he couldn't escape, he swallowed the chain.

The teenager was arrested as part of the "Ariadne" operational plan.
