Brother of Famous TV Presenter Arrested for Drunk Driving

The brother of a well-known Greek TV presenter has been arrested and is being held in custody, accused of drunk driving.

According to newsit.gr, the 38-year-old was driving a black Mini Cooper in the northern suburbs when police attempted to stop him. The driver allegedly resisted, shouting and pushing the officers, and throwing one of their service IDs.

He was then subjected to a breathalyzer test, which showed 0.66 milligrams of alcohol per liter of exhaled air. He also faces charges of "violence against employees and judicial officials."

The incident occurred at 02:30 AM, when the 38-year-old crossed a dividing line on Eleftheriou Venizelou Street in Nea Erythraia, where overtaking is prohibited. Police were mobilized and the arrested man was taken into custody.
