Agios Dimitrios: Arrest for Shooting at Grill House in 2026

A 39-year-old man was arrested in Agios Dimitrios, Attica, for involvement in a shooting outside a grill house on January 12, 2026. The arrest was made by police officers from the Special Investigations Department of the Organized Sports Violence Sub-Directorate.

The accused was located in a short-term rental accommodation in Eastern Attica on April 18, 2026. The operation also involved police officers from E.K.A.M.

In addition to the arrest warrant, there was also a prosecutor's order to revoke a previous release decision. The 39-year-old is required to serve a prison sentence of 8 years, 3 months and 6 days for drug trafficking and robbery in complicity.

The arrested man was taken to the competent prosecutor's office.
