Egypt: Man with Israeli Flag Drives into Crowd – Six Injured

A 35-year-old man was arrested in Egypt, in the city of Kerdasa, west of Cairo, after driving a jeep displaying Israeli flags into a crowded area, crashing into a shop. The incident resulted in six injuries.
According to the Egyptian Interior Ministry, the man is facing "psychological disturbances." Videos circulating on social media show the vehicle with the flags driving on a road before the crash.
Egyptian media initially described the incident as a "traffic accident," while the display of Israeli flags sparked reactions amid increased sympathy for the Palestinians.
Analysts note that in the past, authorities have cited mental health issues in politically sensitive cases.
