Alexandroupoli: 82-Year-Old Murdered – Three Arrests Made

An 82-year-old man was found dead in his home in Alexandroupoli, having been stabbed 15 times. The victim was discovered by a relative on Saturday afternoon (February 15th), while the murder is believed to have occurred on Wednesday (February 11th).

Police have arrested three young men, aged 16, 13, and 21, as suspects in the murder. According to authorities, the perpetrators entered the victim's home and stabbed him. A mobile phone was reportedly stolen from the house.

One of the arrested, a 15-year-old, confessed to the murder. Police had brought in the three young men because the victim had reported the theft of his bank card some time ago. According to reports, the elderly man had been investigated by the authorities in the past for molesting minors.

The arrested will be brought before the investigator and the prosecutor.
