Minor Reports Attempted Rape by Foreign Nationals – Located via App

A 13-year-old girl reported to the Hellenic Police (ELAS) that two Egyptian nationals, aged 17 and 16, gave her cannabis with the intention of raping her. The two youths were arrested and charged with attempted rape by complicity.

According to the report, the minor visited the home of one of the two Egyptians with a 15-year-old friend, whom she had met on social media. There, they allegedly gave her cannabis, causing her to feel intensely dizzy and faint.

The minor's mother located her via an app on her mobile phone and transported her to Agia Sofia Children's Hospital. In her report, the 13-year-old stated that the two Egyptians likely intended to rape her. The child underwent a forensic examination.
