Antirrio: 87-year-old found dead in the sea

An 87-year-old man was found dead in the sea in Antirrio on the morning of August 26. The unfortunate man was discovered floating near the eastern pier.

The fire department, an ambulance, and a port authority vessel rushed to the scene, where his death was confirmed. His body was transferred to a hospital for an autopsy to determine the exact cause of death.

According to reports, the 87-year-old frequently fished in the area and had reportedly traveled to Antirrio from Rio for this purpose.
