Gas Station Ring Exposed: "They Were Stealing with Software"

A witness revealed details about the operation of a ring at gas stations, where they used special software to steal from customers. According to the testimony, the program was created by a 70-year-old from Kavala.
The witness, an employee at a gas station in the Voula area, described how the software interfered with the pumps, reducing the amount of fuel customers received, while the receipt issued was of lesser value. The theft ratio was 1 to 4.
The employee claimed he was receiving a higher salary to operate the system. Computers and 12,200 euros were confiscated from his home, but he is not yet a defendant.
The case file mentions that the 70-year-old from Kavala was manufacturing the software.
